New maps and data now available for population health insurance and disability status from the US Census Bureau’s American Communuity Survey (ACS).

New data from the American Community Survey data for the 2009-11 three-year period has been processed and released! Affected Indicators: Social and Economic Factors Uninsured Population (Total) Population Receiving Medicaid Health Outcomes Population with Any Disability Data for population disability status is also now available by age, gender, race, and ethnicity.

New map and data table now available for Population Receiving SNAP Benefit indicator from the US Census Bureau’s Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates (SAIPE) Program.

New data from the Census Bureau’s SAIPE program has been processed and released. New estimates are based on 2010 SNAP program data, replacing previous estimates which 2009 program data. Affected Indicators: Social & Economic Factors Population Receiving SNAP Benefits

Correction made to age-adjusted rates for cancer mortality sourced from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Vital Statistics System (NVSS) database.

Age-adjusted mortality rates for malignant neoplasm (cancer) have been corrected. The previous version of this indicator reported age-adjusted mortality rates as the mean of the 95% confidence interval values reported for each county.
