New HPSA indicator data and maps are now available for April 2016 (replacing data for April 2015). Affected indicators: Clinical Care Health Professional Shortage Area – Dental Health Professional Shortage Area – Primary Care
CHNA indicators have been reformatted to eliminate discrepancies between service area and county values due to rounding. Figures for all indicators generated from county-level data now round to 1 decimal place. Figures for all indicators generated from ZIP codes, census tracts, and points/addresses still round to 2 decimal places.
The definition changed for coronary heart disease mortality altered in order to fully correspond with Health People 2020 objectives. The definitions has changed from [I11, I20-I25] to [I20-I25]. Hypertensive heart diseases (I11) are no longer included in the definition.
Data on subsidized housing units for 2016 has been processed and released! These updates replace previous indicator data from 2015. Affected indicators: Physical Environment Housing Environment – Assisted Housing
A data inconsistency error was identified and corrected. The error was present only in the “Preliminary Health Needs Identification Tool” for the race/ethnicity disparity EXCEL data export.
