New maps and data now available for population demographic and socioeconomic characteristics from the US Census Bureau’s American Communuity Survey (ACS).

American Community Survey data for the 2014-18 five-year period has been processed and released! These updates replace previous indicator data from the 2013-2017 five-year period.

Correction made to state and national estimates for Access to Primary Care indicator.

An error was identified following the 2/17/20 update of the Primary Care Physicians indicator. Following the update, a change in the underlying data resulted in population totals being doubled and rates halved for state and national-level calculations. Values for individual counties and custom report areas were unaffected. This error has been corrected.

New maps and data now available for the Excessive Drinking indicator from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) and the University of Wisconsin’s County Health Rankings (CHR).

New maps and data now available for indicators from the 2018 US Census Bureau’s SAHIE program (replacing data for 2017). Annual data depicting trends over time is now available for counties, states, and the US for years 2011 through 2018. Affected indicators: Uninsured Population – Total (Under Age 65)

Correction made to custom geographic areas for Access to Primary Care indicator values.

An error was identified in which the numerator (number of primary care physicians) and denominator (total population) values for custom geographic areas were reported as a multi-year aggregate rather than for a single year.
